Jesus died for us

The Bible describes the relationship between God and humanity as having been broken by sin.

Sin means living against God's good will and wanting to live without him.

No human being can undo their own guilt.

That is why Jesus came. He lived without sin and gave his life for people who were guilty.

Christians believe: Jesus died for us.

He took the consequences of our sin upon himself so that people could return to God.

His death was therefore not the end.

It was part of God's way of saving people.
