C stands for Church.
“Church” means church or congregation.
Christians around the world – despite all their differences – belong to the one worldwide Church of Jesus. The Bible describes this community as the Body of Christ.
Christians are people who believe that Jesus truly rose from the dead and confess that he is Lord.
Christians speak different languages. They live in different cultures, do not understand everything in exactly the same way, and celebrate in different ways.
And yet they share one Lord: Jesus Christ.
C33 wants to make something of the size and beauty of this worldwide Church visible.
This is not about removing differences. Unity does not mean uniformity.
We do not all have to celebrate in the same way.
But we can point together to the same Lord:
Jesus is risen. He is Lord.
